Tezaab was released in 1998 and became a
smashing box office hit with its music. The title song "Ek do teen" was the
most integral part of the movie's success. Madhuri got the status of a
superstar after her amazing performance in both comedy and serious scenes in
Tezaab. Anil Kapoor who had already given hits like Mashal and Karma some
years earlier was soon compared with the big Bachchan.
One big news for the fans of Anil Kapoor and Madhuri is that the director N
Chandra is said to be planning a sequel to Tezaab. Although it is not
confirmed, seeing Madhuri and Anil once again together on screen isn't
anything I would miss!
