Sapnay was dubbed and released in Hindi in 1997. Although the movie didn't
do well on the box office, it is a classical romantic movie with impressive
music and superb performances.
Kajol's make-up artists did a great job by highlighting the natural beauty
of the actress. Prabhu Deva plays a barber and does a great job. A R
Rehman's music is ever-green with the main song "Chanda re chanda re" felt
through the entire move.
